GAB - Quality assurance procedure

The quality assurance procedure of the Gesellschaft für Ausbildungsforschung und Berufsentwicklung (GAB) [Society for Education Research and Career Development] was introduced in 2007. The GAB procedure was developed specially for the needs of social and educational institutions.

In such organizations, the workflows cannot be standardized as is the case in manufacturing companies, for instance. The strategies for action are also dependent on the respective situation of clients in counselling and educational institutions such as Zarabina and thus customized and individualized. The result of this work cannot be standardized therefore, but superior quality criteria are called for nonetheless.

The GAB procedure enables Zarabina to set its own quality standards, embedded in the mission statement, concept and guidelines of the organization, where collegial counselling, quality circles and systematic evaluation are used in particular. All Zarabina staff are active in the quality assurance process.

A quality management based on this procedure can be certified according to the ISO 9001 standard. The GAB procedure can also be combined with the model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
